It’s what happens when your body doesn’t feel safe… and you don’t know how to respond to it.

So instead of moving through it, you avoid it, distract yourself, try to control it, or push it away. Which only makes it louder.

It may feel like, "this is just who I

am now." But it's not.

MY STORY

This work came from living it, not just learning about it.

When I was a young child all the signs were already there. Fear of the unknown. Feeling overwhelmed easily. Simple things feeling harder than they should.

Then, at seventeen, I went through an experience with a friend that intensified everything. What had once shown up in smaller moments became an everyday experience: waking up anxious, feeling uncomfortable in my own body, avoiding being alone, and staying busy so I wouldn’t have to feel what was happening inside me.

All I wanted was to feel good again

I tried counselling, books, podcasts, breathwork, journaling, and meditation. Some of it helped temporarily. But it still felt like pieces — not a path.

What changed everything wasn’t one perfect tool.

It was learning how to understand what I was feeling, support it, and create safety inside my body.
